How is the a Grade Ahead's Enrichment At Home program different from other programs?

A Grade Ahead’s program is based on the curriculum that is laid out for U.S. public schools. In this program, the students get the unique opportunity to cover a majority of the topics in detail for each grade (and in some cases even go above and beyond.) At the same time students have exposure to drills which are customizable to their skill level.

Who should enroll in the a Grade Ahead Program?

The A Grade Ahead program is designed for any student who wants to excel at school and standardized testing—and who does not live within a 10-mile driving distance from an A Grade Ahead Enrichment Academy. This provides an opportunity for students to catch up to their grade level or be admitted into the advanced or accelerated programs.

Does the program clash with what is taught at my child’s school?

In the A Grade Ahead Program, the students practice the topics covered at their grade level. So the program is designed to be a very effective supplemental program to their school classwork.

How do I select an appropriate study level for my child?

Your child can download samples of various "levels" of our worksheets and practice with them to determine the right level of study. Alternatively, our Online Registration process can help you select the appropriate study material for your child.

Our Enrichment academies offer an initial assessment for each student. Please contact your local academy for details.

What does the study packet consist of?
The study packet contains Examples, Worksheets, an Answer key, and a score card (called Results Recording Sheet).
When your child completes the worksheets, the results can be entered at: https://parentportal.agradeahead.com.

How do students advance to higher levels?
Your student will naturally move on to more challenging concepts. The results of your student's monthly worksheets will help us to determine when he or she can advance as well. We also strongly encourage parent feedback and suggestions.

What if the study material is too difficult for my child?

If the study material is not at your child's level, please contact us immediately. We will make prompt adjustments to match the material to the skill level of the student.

Can students take a break from the program?
A student can take three months of break each calendar year. These breaks can be taken at once or they can be spread out over the calendar year.

How can I make a payment for the Enrichment at Home program?

You can pay by calling our office, mailing us a check, establishing automatic monthly payments, or using our new, convenient Parent Portal. The AutoPay form is included in your invoice and can also be found in the My Tools section. Please complete the form and return it to us via mail, fax, or email for a hassle-free method of payment.

Will my credit card information be stored after registering for the program?

No. The credit card you use to pay for the initial registration is not kept on file. Consequently, after the first month in the program, you will need to initiate the next payment by one of the methods described above.

Does my child have to take an initial assessment?

The Enrichment at Home program does not have an online assessment for enrollments. Please use our samples or call us to help decide the appropriate material for your student.
